Natural skincare; who cares?
Crap free sounds good, but does it really matter that the ingredients of your skincare product are from a plant? Or whether they are manufactured in a laboratory? In the end, that plant also has to pass through a laboratory before it can enter the Kaerel package. True.
But there is a difference.
What does a skin care product with natural ingredients mean exactly?
It means that a skin care product is made from ingredients that come from nature. While growing and flowering and harvesting, the ingredients are not polluting nature.
Petroleum is also a natural product. But extracting petroleum is a polluting activity. Most natural ingredients come from plants, flowers and seeds.
What is the advantage of using natural ingredients?
Before an ingredient is used in a skin care product, it must first grow and flourish. A plant, flower or seed has an important function in nature, such as absorbing CO2 and insects. Once in the package and onto your body, the product is kinder and gentler to your skin.
After use, 60% of the ingredients end up in your bloodstream. Your body generally knows better how to deal with natural ingredients than non-natural ones. So these are broken down and disposed of.
Once in the water system, the natural components take care of breaking down the substances. A substance from nature is recognized and broken down faster than a non-natural ingredient. Quite logical actually. If you ask us, those are a lot of advantages.
Why is there so little use of natural ingredients?
The answer is simple: it’s a matter of money.
Can natural ingredients also be toxic or cause irritation?
Yes, they can. But we do not use toxic ingredients in our Kaerel products. However, if you are sensitive to certain ingredients, even if they are natural, they can irritate your skin.
Natural ingredients form a better union with nature in the whole process: from production to users to the degradation process. And for Kaerel that is what matters. So yes, we care!!
